Youth Week in Cameroon: Educational talk with pupils from Domayo elementary school
Today, February 8, 2024, as part of Youth Week in Cameroon, IOM and its partners, including Butterfly Cameroon, FADEC, RESAEC and AGADJAS, organized an educational talk with pupils at Domayo elementary school in Maroua, from 10am to 12pm.
The aim of the session was to inform and sensitize pupils to the issue of violence in schools and in their daily lives.
Butterfly Cameroon trainees Pam Laétitia and Sah Dili Grace represented the organization at the event.
Their participation testifies to Butterfly Cameroon’s ongoing commitment to children’s well-being. This awareness-raising initiative enables students to recognize violent behavior and understand its consequences.
In short, the initiative aims to promote a peaceful and respectful school environment, thus fostering the success of young children.
