Vision, Missions & Objectives

Butterfly Cameroon in brief

Butterfly Cameroon is an association registered under Cameroonian law. It is an apolitical and not-for-profit organization working for sustainable development, peace, social justice and the empowerment of local communities.

As part of its activities, the organization has decided to open a Regional Unit in the Far-North of Cameroon in order to be closer to vulnerable communities. As a matter of fact, this region is at the center of a humanitarian crisis, which affects thousands of people, particularly women, children and the youth.

The resurgence of terrorist attacks along the borders with Nigeria and the Lake Chad Basin is still causing a massive displacement of people in the Far-North region and beyond its borders. In the face of this precarious security situation caused by the crisis, Butterfly Cameroon looks forward to contributing through many activities including the very first "Salon de la Formation Professionnelle".

it is a project that aims at reinforcing the capacities of professionals, recent graduates and students in: personal development, leadership, entrepreneurship, community development, community project management, etc.

In order to reach as many people as possible, the organization looks forward to organizing a training every month in order to train 500 young people in a year.
