Butterfly Cameroon participated in the OCHA stock-taking meeting in Maroua

On 29 September 2022, Antoine Mbourtekai, Legal Affairs Officer of Butterfly Cameroon, attended a meeting organised by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Maroua.

This meeting focused on coordinating actions to take in response to the tragic effects of the flooding that the region is faced with and also to assess the level of support provided to the victims.

Butterfly Cameroon suggested that it could interven in the food sector in order to support the initiatives of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and that of other partner organisations aimed at contributing to the food security of the vulnerable populations in the face of these flooding.
