Butterfly Cameroon in Doualaré for the 16 days of activism against Gender-Based Violence

On 30 November 2023, the Butterfly Cameroon team mobilized in the Doualaré district of Maroua, as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

Aligned with the campaign’s global theme, “Investing to prevent violence against women and girls”, the Butterfly Cameroon association is organising community awareness-raising activities in the Communes of Maroua I and II, notably in the localities of Frolina, Doualaré and Complexe Domayo, from November 25 to 30, 2023.

These initiatives aim to address the crucial issues of parental responsibilities, violence against women and girls, and early and forced marriage.

The overall objective of this initiative is to sensitize 500 people in the Communes of Maroua 1st and 2nd on these crucial issues.
