Butterfly Cameroon Amazons: Raising Awareness on violence against women

On November 25th, 2023, Cameroonian artist, Sandy’s, organised an impactful awareness campaign to raise awareness about violence against women.

Butterfly Cameroon actively participated in this initiative through its Amazons project. The campaign specifically focused on combatting domestic violence, a significant source of trauma in our society.

Flore Machie, an active member of the Amazons project and survivor of domestic violence, actively participated in this event alongside Patricia Anagha, the Communications Assistant of Butterfly Cameroon.

This campaign provided Mrs. Flore with an opportunity to share her experience, contributing to the building of a society where domestic violence will no longer have a place in our homes.
