19 August 2023, World Humanitarian Aid Day

Butterfly Cameroon took part in activities to commemorate World Humanitarian Day on 19 August 2023. This year’s theme was “No matter What”. The association was represented by its Far North regional coordinator, Nadege Kenmegne, and its legal affairs officer, Antoine Mbourtekaï. Activities began with a sports walk the day before at Place des fêtes. On 19 August, the day began with a conference, followed by a fair and exhibition of humanitarian activities and initiatives at Maroua’s cercle municipal.
Some 30 organizations took part to present their activities and services to the public. Butterfly Cameroon had a stand at the fair, where it explained its activities and its head office in Maroua.
