Butterfly Cameroon participated in the information workshop organised by the IOM Maroua
Our team of volunteers was already settled at Woila Vision in Maroua as part of the information workshop organised by the International Organisation for Migrations (IOM) prior to the World Mental Health Day observed on Nos équipes sont déjà installées à Woila Vision, à Maroua, dans le cadre de l’atelier d’échange organisé ce jour the upcoming 10 October.
We would like to thank our partners who came along with us. They are, among others, the Cameroon Youth Building Protection and we hereby hail the presence of its president, Yamanock Batoura.
Two major activities were held for the day:
– Visiting stands of the various actors;
– A roundtable on the theme “Make mental health and well-being for all a priority in the humanitarian action”.
The discussions were led by representatives of the IOM, the High-Commission for Refugees (HCR), Action against Hunger, Plan International and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
